The PalmOne Tungsten E is one of the popular Palm handhelds with avery sleek design reminiscent of the legendary and ever-popular Palm V series. Complementing the sleek metal design of the Tungsten Eis this aircraft grade aluminum case by PDair. Similar to all the metal hard cases we've seen from PDair, this one is form fitting and allows the best balance between form and function.

In addition you can stow an additonal SD card on the inside pocket of this case.
Probably the hidden gem of this case is that it has a small hole on the bottom that allows you access to the reset button on the rare occassion that you need it. That's thinking ahead!

Unlike the OEM Palm built Tungsten E hard case, this one really "grabs" the PDA from the bottom, and allows you to flip open the case easily. The one made by Palm not only seems to be a poor overall fit, but is difficult to open and operate because the clamshell design interferes with the user's ability to grab the stylus.



Another aspect of this case to enjoy is the dense neoprene inner lining. This prevents any scratches if you remove your Palm Tungsten from the case for whatever reason. Some early metal cases had a tendency to scrape the casing of the PDA when removed from the case.

PDair has thoughtfully left a few areas open for viewing, including the lower hotsync/charge port (if you're using a hotsync cable) as well as easy access to the power switch and the stylus. If you dropped this case, your PDA would be very well protected, since the PDA is inset from all sides of the case.

Another bonus feature is the addition of the optional belt clip if you like to use PDA clips.
